Are you passionate about sharing practical knowledge, advancing skills, and inspiring action in the field of ageing?
The International Federation on Ageing (IFA) invites you to submit a proposal for a Masterclass to be held during the Pre-Conference Events on 9 September 2025, ahead of the IFA 17th Global Conference on Ageing in Cape Town, South Africa.
Masterclasses are interactive, in-depth learning sessions designed to build capacity, spark new ideas, and offer practical tools that participants can take back to their own communities or professional settings. These sessions go beyond traditional lectures focusing instead on dialogue, co-creation, and skills development.
Sessions can be either 3 or 5 hours in length and should include time for group work, case studies, or other participatory elements. We’re looking for experienced professionals, advocates, researchers, and innovators who want to lead impactful sessions that align with one or more of the conference’s ten core themes. Whether you work in policy, practice, research, or advocacy, we welcome proposals that offer new perspectives and hands-on knowledge!
How to submit
To be eligible to lead a masterclass, you must first register for the IFA 17th Global Conference on Ageing.
